The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on the Personality Traits and Social Health of Women in District 12 of Tehran

This study aimed to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence (self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management) on the personality traits and social health of women. This study is descriptive and applied. The statistical population is women living in District 12 of Tehran. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Number of samples was determined 384 by using Jersey and Morgan Table and finally the questionnaire was randomly distributed among sample members. Analysis of data from 385 questionnaires returned by LISREL software showed that self-awareness, self-management and relationship management had a significant positive impact on the personality traits and social health of women and social awareness is effective only on women's health; therefore, the impact of social awareness on personality traits of women was not approved.
