Examining the relationship between organizational atmosphere and management communication skills with desire to leave by official staffs in Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company (Centre for South-East)

Abstract


This research is done with the purpose of examining the relationship between organizational atmosphere and management communication of official staffs in Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company in autumn, 1394 (Centre for South-East). The research method is cross – correlation. The population of this research is 129 Iranian Oil Pipeline and Telecommunication Company official staff and, a sample size of 97 patients was chosen randomly. To collect data, communication skills questionnaires with validity 85 / e0 and 96/0 reliability, organizational atmosphere questionnaire with validity0/83   and reliability 0/88, and a leaving job questionnaire with validity0/87 and reliability 0/88 were used. Analysis of data was done by SPSS 20. Descriptive and inferential statistics such as mean, standard deviation, correlation and multiple regressions were used. Research results showed that there was a significant and reverse relationship between the organizational atmosphere and communication skills of managers with desire to leave of official staffs, and there is a significant relationship between organizational atmosphere dimensions (open, self-controlled, friendly, cooperative and close). There was a significant relationship between the components of managers' communication skills (verbal skills, listening skills, feedback skill) and desire to leave the job of official staffs. The most important predictors of leaving job of employees are, respectively, verbal skills and feedback skills of managers.
