Investigating the relationship between the services compensation system of staff of Kerman University of Medical Sciences and their information literacy
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the relationship between the services compensation system of employees of the Kerman University of Medical Sciences and their literacy of information in 1393. The research method is the descriptive – correlation. The statistical population of this research is all of Kerman University of Medical Sciences. The sample size was 300 persons selected with simple random method. Two questionnaires including the information literacy of staff with validity 0.95 and reliability 0.89 and the services compensation system with validity 0.87 and reliability 0.81were used to collect data. Data analysis was performed with software SPSS 20. Descriptive and inferential statistics such as average, standard deviation, Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient and multiple regressions were used. The results show that there is a significant and direct relationship between the services compensation system of indirect financial, indirect non- financial and the information literacy of staff. And there is no relationship between the system of direct financial services compensation and direct non-financial services and information literacy of staff. Services compensation system, indirect financial services and the indirect non-financial services compensation system are the best predictors of information literacy of staff.
